About Rick
Rick Eubanks has been working with students and leading worship for over 53 years, believing that relationships are at the heart of ministry. He currently serves as the State Coordinator for the National Network of Youth Ministries in Texas and is involved with Links International, a missions organization active in 62 countries. Based at Declaration Church in Spring, Texas, Rick serves as a resident missionary and often leads worship at various churches in the Houston area. His passion is to see students worldwide become worshiping disciple-makers.
Rick and his wife Carol have two daughters, Holly Bollinger (married to Jason) and Bethany Smith (married to Josh), who are all engaged in full-time ministry and missions in the Houston area. They are also proud grandparents to five grandchildren.
Rick has trained youth leaders from Singapore to Siberia in the Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry strategy. He has directed numerous large-scale productions, recorded three worship albums, written Bible studies for Interlinc, as well as, articles for Facts and Trends Magazine, and recently helped update and release three new campus ministry books with Barry St. Clair.
Throughout his ministry, Rick has led at least four mission trips annually, contributing to church planting efforts in Colorado, Wyoming, Alaska, Canada, Washinton, Oregon, and Texas. He is a co-founder and board member of City Church Ministries in inner-city Houston. Rick has dedicated over 40 years to working with churches in the Pacific Northwest, focusing on growth strategy, evangelism, church planting, worship leader training, and mentoring pastors and youth pastors nationwide.
Rick served as the Worship/Student Pastor at Crestmont Baptist Church in Burleson, Texas, for 22 years, where he co-founded See You at the Pole, a student-led prayer movement that has empowered millions of students worldwide. He also spent 12 years in Sugar Land, Texas, helping plant Grand Parkway Baptist Church, where he served as Worship Pastor and College House Church Pastor, and 14 years as Worship/Student Pastor at Oak Grove Baptist in Burleson.
Rick and Carol hold a bachelor’s degree in music education/Voice from Texas Wesleyan University and Rick holds a master’s degree in music composition from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, where he was a Teaching Fellow in music theory. He is proficient in piano, organ, keyboards/synths, guitar, bass, drums, and percussion. Rick still enjoys mentoring young worship leaders, youth leaders, and leadership students.
