About Rick

Rick Eubanks has been working with students and leading worship for 51 years. He believes that in ministry, relationships are everything. He is now the State Coordinator for the National Network of Youth Ministries in Texas and is a part of Links International, a missions organization working in 62 countries. His base is Declaration Church in Spring, Texas, where he serves as a resident missionary. He also supplies as worship leader for a number of churches in the Houston area. His passion is to see students around the world become worshiping disciple-makers.

Rick and his wife Carol have two daughters, Holly Bollinger married to Jason, and Bethany Smith married to Josh, who are all serving in full-time ministry and missions in the Houston area. They also serve as proud grandparents to five precious grandkids.

Rick has trained youth leaders from Singapore to Siberia in the Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry strategy. He also has directed numerous large-scale productions, recorded three worship projects, and written Bible studies for Interlinc, as well as, articles for Facts and Trends Magazine.

He has led at least four or more mission trips every year for most of his ministry career, helping plant churches in Colorado, Wyoming, Alaska, Canada, and Texas. He is co-founder and board member of City Church Ministries in inner-city Houston. Rick has adopted the Pacific Northwest as his main mission region and has spent over 40 years working with churches in growth strategy, evangelism, church planting, training worship leaders, as well as, mentoring pastors and youth pastors nationwide.

Rick was the Worship/Student Pastor at Crestmont Baptist Church in Burleson, Texas, for 22 years where “See You at the Pole” began and is the originator and co-founder of the event, involving and empowering millions of students worldwide to pray together as the body of Christ in a student-led, student-initiated movement. Rick served in Sugar Land, Texas for 12 years helping plant Grand Parkway Baptist Church as Worship Pastor and College House Church Pastor, and served 14 years as Worship/Student Pastor at Oak Grove Baptist in Burleson.

Rick has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Texas Wesleyan University and a Master’s Degree in Music Composition from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth. While studying for his Master’s, he was a Teaching Fellow in music theory. Rick plays piano, organ, keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, and percussion.

  • Eagle Leader for Reach-Out Youth Solutions - coaching and training leaders yearly in youth ministry strategy and worship,

  • Evangelism training, parenting, and church growth and developed leaders across the US, Siberia, and Alaska.

  • Seminar and Worship Leader for Front Line Ministries, 1995 to present.

  • Seminar and Worship Leader for Texas Super Summer for the past 30 years.

  • Founder and former coordinator of LINK Network in South Fort Worth.

  • Helped establish the Youth Evangelism Conference and State Youth Choir in Alaska in 1988.

  • Youth Evangelism Strategist for BGCT, 1987-1992.

  • Worship leader on the “More Than a Song” worship project released in September 2003, the "We Bow Down" worship project released in December 1998, and the "Sing a New Song" Praise album for Student Discipleship Ministries.

  • Director of large-scale productions including "The Promise" in Burleson and Sugar Land, “It’s Really A Wonderful Life”, Cotton Patch Gospel, and multiple other Easter and Christmas large-scale productions.

  • Served on the Board of Directors for Gabriel Ministries, Arlington, Texas.

  • Published articles, and Bible studies for Interlinc and Facts and Trends magazine.

  • Developed "What Now?" new member follow-up booklet.

  • Coordinator of world premiers of the “To Save a Life” movie in Burleson, Texas.

  • Co-founder of City Church Ministries, Houston, serving the Third-Ward area in Houston with feeding, mentoring, and developing children in the area, as well as, connecting area churches for ministry.

  • Mission work in the Northwest US for 35 years and has assisted in planting or re-planting churches in Wyoming, Saskatchewan, Colorado, Alaska, and Washington.

  • Regional Campaign Mobilizer for Stand for Students/Claim Your Campus.

  • State Coordinator for National Network of Youth Ministries for Texas in 2020.
